A woman and her backpack: Taken from
A Hero within tragedy: Taken from
There's a lot more from where that came from ((wishes for a sub, grr)) and I'll plug you in. I've heard from my mo that there was this guy who was found, in rigor mortis, frozen but seeminly holding onto something invisible. She said that it must be the guy who went after his bag and hat that were swept away. Also she told me, from her experience, that there was this Korean who thought was standing on pavement but was actually standing n a hole with silt on it. Don't worry, that Korean was able to swim.
True fact, you can't float on flood water. You drown easily so don't expect to float on your back. Best is to swim if not find something to float on.
So far, right ow, I'm plug in to the news. I'm quite worried from the people in Cainta, Rizal ((where my family is, dn't worry they're in an elevated place so they weren't harmed. Pweh)).
As of 9/29/09 6:47pm: Taytay, Rizal has still chest-deep waters.
